Vivienne Westwood- ‘Active Resistance to Propaganda’

Directed by Andrew Steggall of The Motion Group, the production brings together a cast of actors and celebrities fresh from box office smash hits, to enact Vivienne’s call for a more cultured society, delivered by 25 characters from literature, art and history including Pinocchio, Aristotle and Alice from Wonderland.

Prior to the performance you are invited to view a special exhibition of unforgettable art inspired by the manifesto, curated by highly acclaimed underground artist Sanja Sakic.

Immediately after the performance there will be a short Q&A session with Vivienne Westwood, followed by a champagne reception and an exquisite three course dinner accompanied by live music.

- Homemade parmesan sable biscuit with creamed ragstone goat’s cheese, sun-blushed cherry tomato and red onion marmalade

- Antipasti skewers – buffalo mozzarella, kalmato olives and pesto marinated

- Mediterranean vegetables

- Braised beef and wild mushroom potato topped baby pies

- Smoked haddock and spinach fishcakes

- Lemon and coriander cured salmon with chilli and kiwi fruit dressing

- Roast rump of lamb with dauphinoise potato, honey roasted root vegetables and rosemary jus

- Herb Yorkshire pudding filled with honey roasted winter vegetables and served with veggie shallot & rosemary gravy

- Glazed double chocolate brownie with red berry compote

Guests will have the opportunity to show their support for positive change by learning more about the Prince’s Rainforest Project and the COP 15 conference on climate change.

The evening will conclude with a star-studded VIP after-party at the HEYJOCLUB in Mayfair, where Vivienne, the star of the night, will be joining us.

** 6.30pm - Doors open for guests to enjoy works of art inspired by Vivienne’s manifesto. The exhibition is curated by highly acclaimed artist Sanja Sakic who regularly stages the successful SiteShow exhibitions at building sites across London

** 7.30pm - Performance of Vivienne Westwood’s AR as Dame Vivienne Westwood and a number of high profile actors from stage and screen brings the brilliantly surreal manifesto to life

** 8.15pm - A Champagne and Canapé reception to treat guests and a further chance to enjoy the exhibition and sign petitions to protect the rainforests and show support for action on climate change

** 9.00pm - Three sumptuous courses and coffee delivered silver service style at the VIP dinner which includes interlude performances by mesmerising harp and soprano duet Harp 2 Heart

** 10.30pm - VIP After-party at the millionaire’s playground that is HEYJOCLUB with special guest DJs mixing things up for the celeb laden crowd
