The first karaoke machine was invented by Japanese musician Daisuke Inoue in Japan, in the early 1970s. After becoming popular in Japan, karaoke spread to East and Southeast Asia during the 1980s and subsequently to other parts of the world.
To celebrate this wonderful invention which took over the entire world, HeyJo Club and Abracadabra Russian Restaurant located in Jermyn St, Piccadilly are running 80’s 90’s 00’s Karaoke night on Wednesday the 1st of July 2009.
Indulge your inner superstar and have a go at karaoke with the smash hits from 80’s 90’s 00’s! With one of Europe’s best sound systems in the club you are sure to sound good. Free entry before 10pm and £10 afterwards.
